Cynthia Retallick

Cynthia Retallick brings 20 years of industrial experience and a diverse
background to TRC. Ms. Retallick works in TRC’s Exit Strategy and
Real Estate division to facilitate the identification, development and
closure of transactions involving environmentally impaired properties.
In this capacity, she executes projects, integrating innovative deal structures
and environmental insurance to resolve the risks inherent to environmental
clean-up projects. She works in all facets of TRC’s innovative deal
approach, finding application in all types of environmental projects including:
mergers/acquisitions; RCRA and Superfund sites; discontinued operations
sites; real estate development; resolution of multi-party litigation;
and simple property purchase and sale.
Ms. Retallick’s professional background includes eight years practicing
environmental transactional law with the firm of LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene
and MacRae; twelve years working in manufacturing as a research chemist
and product line manager in specialty chemicals development; and two years
as a Senior Vice President at Marsh, Inc. where she worked to design unique
environmental insurance structures to address environmental liabilities.
Ms. Retallick received her JD with honors from the University of Connecticut,
School of Law and her B.A. in chemistry and chemical engineering from
Smith College
Ms. Retallick has published numerous articles and spoken throughout the
country on the resolution of environmental liabilities. She holds three
patents in electronics manufacturing processes with two additional patents
pending.
